According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, the Bills have signed veteran linebacker Ramon Humber, and cut kicker Jordan Gay to make the roster spot.

The Buffalo Bills won’t be keeping two kickers after all. Gay made the roster each of the last two seasons as a kickoff specialist and was a huge part of why Buffalo had the best kick coverage in the league previous year.

Lewis joined the Bills on Wednesday via waivers, a day after being released by the Seattle Seahawks. Defensive end Shaq Lawson, the club’s first-round pick, is also shelved at least six weeks with a surgically repaired shoulder.

The Buffalo Bills added another linebacker, a day after trading for one.

Lewis is not expected to play in Thursday night’s preseason finale against Detroit.

Humber was cut by New England on Tuesday, and has seven years of National Football League experience split between Indianapolis and New Orleans. The 29-year-old has mostly served as a special teams player during his career, but he is also capable of playing inside linebacker.

From 2013 to 2015, Humber appeared in 45 games, recording 126 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three pass breakups.
