IPhone 7 launch invites confirm rumours about its camera correct

Those details square with the widely held belief that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus won’t have a headphone jack, and will instead rely on an all-in-one Lightning port for charging, listening, and connectivity.

Last month, MacRumors revealed that an “AirPods” trademark filing discovered last October seemingly confirmed Apple’s work on upcoming wireless earphones in lieu of a headphone jack on the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7 will reportedly feature a 4.7-inch 3D touch display, whereas the iPhone 7 Plus is likely to feature a larger 5.5-inch display.

The physical home button could also be replaced by pressure-sensitive technology used in newest MacBooks’ trackpads, according to Bloomberg.

The disclosure about Apple imminent plans to launch wireless headphones is significant, especially against the backdrop of several reports and rumors that the company will eliminate the 3.5mm headset port in its forthcoming new iPhone — the iPhone 7. That’s in line with past reports suggesting that Apple would ditch the 16GB base model. However, the improvements in the new device will be more utility based, and on the inside, including the use of WatchOS 3.0 with cellular connectivity, faster TSMC processor, better waterproofing, specialized activity tracking, other than Global Positioning System radio and barometer.

Apple’s next iPhones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, are scheduled for September 7th release, and invites for the event have already been sent out. Both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are said to be powered by an A10 processor.
