The next iPhone won’t have a headphone jack, new leaked photos indicate
Apple has sent out invitations and publicity announcements for this year’s product announcement, to take place 10 a.m. PT on September 7 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Remember when the images were leaked? Apple ditching the headphone jack – following Motorola’s headphone jack-less Moto Z – has created quite the squall among smartphone users, not just iPhone users.

However, news that Apple is set to remove the headphone jack completely and instead encourage users to move to wireless and Bluetooth earpieces has been met with a mixed reaction.
Rumours surrounding the removal of the headphone jack have not been well-received by Apple users.
This news may trouble audiophiles who’ve tended to trade Apple’s lower quality headphones for superior brands. That’s a big step up from the 16GB models that Apple now offers, which usually run out of free space pretty quickly. The iPhone 6S measures 138.1 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm. Some say that it will be named as iPhone 7 and some rumors state that it will be called as iPhone 6SE.
With all the iPhone 7 rumors looming, Apple has finally sent out media invitations to an event that will likely result in the reveal of the company’s newest mobile devices.
Unsurprisingly this is not Apple’s first cryptic message, with previous launches coming with their own notes to decode.
If nothing else, these renders are the best images of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to date. The iPhone 7 will use pressure-sensitive technology from Macbook computers to replace the home button, claimed Bloomberg Technology. While the Plus version of the iPhone always had a bigger screen, this year it is also expected to come with dual-camera setup. It comes in storage editions of 16 GB, 64 GB and 32 GB.
The iPhone 6S has a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. The invite reads, “See you on the 7th”. But it certainly is an exciting invention, especially if you consider everything else Apple is rumored to be planning for future iPhone models.

The issue appears to be fairly common, although it’s unclear how many phones are affected, said the group, which calls itself a “free fix manual”.
