It goes without saying that the Ravens want to get Perriman as much work in the final preseason game as much as possible, very much akin to what the Steelers are hoping to get out of their own rookie first-round draft pick, who has missed almost all of training camp and the first three preseason games while nursing a quad injury. The Ravens’ receiver is recovering from a partially torn ACL he suffered earlier this summer in addition to recovering from PCL surgery that kept him out of the entire 2015 season. Perriman won’t be expected to play a lot in the preseason finale for the Ravens, but getting him some reps prior to the start of the season will be good. Ravens fans just have to hope he doesn’t have any kind of a setback. In his sophomore and junior seasons in college, Perriman averaged over 20 yards per reception.

Flacco is certainly at his best when he is throwing the ball down the field, and Perriman is a great fit on paper with him. This is when most National Football League teams play their starters the deepest into games during the entirety of the preseason, to get them ready for the first week of the regular season. Baltimore is once again led by a ferocious defense and see the return of two receivers at opposite ends of their careers as both Breshad Perriman and Steve Smith should be in full health.

Ravens WR Breshad Perriman will play in preseason finale if cleared
