“We’re proud to have Run the Jewels as a part of the Gears of War family”.

Ahead of a showcase of the mode at PAX West this weekend, Xbox and The Coalition have revealed new details about Gears of War 4’s Horde Mode 3.0. Players should have plenty of opportunities to earn them as they try to survive 50 waves of enemies that include both the Swarm and the robotic DeeBees.
Possibly the biggest change coming to Horde 3.0 is the new Fabricator tool, which allows players to construct defenses, turrets and weapons anywhere on the map to push back the invading creatures.
Run the Jewels are about as teeth-rattling as a Gears of War game.
Some aspects of Horde 3.0 will be familiar to longtime Gears fans. Up to five players will face off against 50 waves of increasingly hard enemies, and every 10 rounds still triggers a boss wave.
Set on the fictional planet of Sera, the “Gears of War” series charts the story of humanity’s struggle against fearsome and brutal adversaries through a captivating tale of hope, comradery and survival. The full-length banger is slated to appear on Run the Jewels 3.

Run the Jewels have shared the first proper taster of third record “RTJ3” in the form of a Gears of War 4 trailer. Those that pre-order the Ultimate Edition will be able to play it four days early on Friday, October 7. It is slated to be a Play Anywhere title, and it will feature limited Cross-Play, supporting co-operative, but not competitive, gaming across the PC and Xbox.
