Speaking at a campaign rally in support of Mr Corbyn in Glasgow, a union representative said the MP had been “unfairly treated”.

Mr Corbyn will take his battle for the party leadership to Edinburgh, where he will launch his culture policy against the backdrop of the capital’s festivals. “But they haven’t told me what I posted”. I have not been given the opportunity to refute any allegations, or a date for any hearing. I believe in what it is doing.
Pressed on the train controversy by reporters, Mr Corbyn said: “I’m glad you’ve watched the CCTV so carefully”.
She hoped the 130 who had joined the party locally since its AGM in April, giving it 350 members, its highest in her six years with Labour, would help it win.
Mr Corbyn said: “It’s an enormous honour to be selected and elected as a Labour Member of Parliament”.
Labour leadership challenger Owen Smith has accused Jeremy Corbyn of being “happy” about the vote for the United Kingdom to leave the EU.
Another member was told their application was rejected because they “declared your support for the Green Party on social media in June 2015”.
Trying to make himself heard over the noise, Mr Corbyn hit back saying he thought the two candidates “were going to be grown up” during the debate.
But the reality is that it was only ever the members of the Parliamentary Labour Party (PLP), and not the majority of party members and supporters, who wanted Corbyn to step down as leader.
“But I’m well aware that Labour and the SNP come from different traditions and have different goals”. Officials insist they are just enforcing the rules.
Lord Sainsbury, a science minister in the upper house under Tony Blair, released a statement saying both donations had been meant to fund the pro-remain Britain Stronger in Europe campaign before the European Union referendum in June.
Writing in The Herald newspaper on Thursday, Mr Smith said: “A key part of my plan would be a £200 billion British New Deal – a huge investment fund to renew our country, providing £20 billion through the Barnett formula for Scotland”.

Smith’s comments have sparked a backlash among Brexiteers, who described it as a snub to the 35 percent of Labour members who opted to leave the EU.
