GCSE Results Day 2016: Records broken at Budehaven Community School
Over half (51 per cent) of its Year 11 cohort achieved five or more A* to B grades, 81 per received A* to C in English language/literature and 86 per cent got an A* to C in maths.

“The first cohort to take the new GCSE computer science exceeded all expectations and surpassed national averages with 83% achieving grade C or better”.
After returning in year eight, she dedicated herself to her studies and her story was hailed as inspirational by both teachers and pupils.
In terms of one of the new key measures; 63 per cent of students achieved A*- C in English and Maths.
Holly, 16, said: “I am overwhelmed, this is the best thing that could’ve happened after five years of being at Lavington”.
He will be joining Giles Academy Sixth Form in September, going on to study Diploma Business and A Level Maths.

A total of 62 per cent of all the grades awarded at the school were As or A*, with 27 per cent of pupils gaining the top grade and 47 pupils achieving ten or more A and A*s.

“I was always aiming high but it was only in year 10 I started working hard”. More and more students choose to stay with us into the sixth form because of this personalised support and small group teaching.
Some 75% of Denbigh students achieved A*-C grades in English and Maths.
Morgane Dumas achieved “outstanding” results including 10 A*s.
