Vikings QB Bridgewater could miss 1-2 years

We’re going to go out and fight like we always do…. The Vikings have a stout defense, a top three running back, and an underrated receiving corps that now includes Laquon Treadwell but the loss of Bridgewater is huge as it completely changes the dynamic of this offense.

Sorenson, who has spent time on the practice squads with San Diego and Tennessee, did not appear in the preseason for the Vikings, but he’s expected to play Thursday, along with Stave, in Minnesota’s final exhibition game at home against St. Louis.

With Bridgewater heading to injured reserve, the Vikings re-signed quarterback Brad Sorensen, whom they had added to the roster after Bridgewater was held out of the team’s second preseason game in Seattle on August 18 with a sore shoulder.

Teddy Bridgewater could miss more than one season depending on his recovery from a horrific knee injury. “After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage”.

Just minutes after the Bridgewater went down, an employee of the team called 911 in order to get an ambulance to the Vikings’ practice facility as quickly as possible. Surgical fix will be scheduled within the next few days. Although the recovery time will be significant, we expect Teddy to make a full recovery. I would like to thank all of the medical professionals and our athletic training staff for all of their help today.
