Jose Mourinho hasn’t disguised the fact that Bastian Schweinsteiger’s chances of playing again for Manchester United are about as remote as Bobby Charlton lining out one more time for the Red Devils.

“I’m not saying it’s impossible, I’m saying its very hard because we have made a decision made about (Paul) Pogba, (Ander) Herrera, (Morgan) Schneiderlin, (Marouane) Fellaini and (Michael) Carrick”.

When asked in his news conference on Friday about whether Schweinsteiger could have an opportunity, Mourinho said: “I think it’s very hard to happen”.

The 32-year-old sent out a tweet regarding his current situation and made it abundantly clear that he is going nowhere.

“I want to thanks the fans for the fantastic support over the recent weeks”.

World Cup victor Schweinsteiger, 32, has been frozen out and humiliated by Jose Mourinho who has banished him from his senior squad and forced him to train with the youngsters. “It’s very hard that an opportunity will arrive”.

“I normally like to work with 20 players plus the three goalkeepers, which is what I do for 15 years”.

United have made a storming start to the season, beating champions Leicester in the Community Shield before winning both their Premier League games so far, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The Germany worldwide has two years to run on a reported £190,000-a-week ($251,000, 222,200 euros) contract, but has been frozen out by United’s new manager.

“We know how important Bastian was for all his teams, no matter if it was Bayern or the national team”. But Manchester United was the only one which could make me leave Bayern Munich. The U23’s also do not see to have much experience, and in order to teach players, the experience is key.

If Schweinsteiger decides to make the move to MLS, he may have to wait until the winter transfer window so that a team could make a move for him.
