IPhone 7 leak suggests lightning EarPods AND headphone jack incoming

More surprisingly, it also says that the iPhone 7 might come bundled with a Lightning to headphone adaptor. You could also say that there’s an air of trepidation, as it’s nearly certain that this will be the first iPhone to ditch the ubiquitous 3.5mm headphone jack.

We’ll know more about the iPhone 7 very shortly.

With Apple’s Special Event a little under a week away, we now expect to see even more iPhone 7 rumors appear, and many of them will start to offer a true representation as to what the new iPhone for 2016 will look like, and also what specs the model will be packing.

The tech orchestra is to happen on the 7th September at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The packaging indicates a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter will be included with iPhone 7 products, a departure from Apple’s usual business practice of requiring users to buy such accessories separately. The iPhone 7 should be a comparable price to the iPhone 6s before it, so a 32GB model could cost in the region of £539; the 64GB version could cost £619; and the 128GB handset could set you back £699. In addition to being the charger used for the iPhone, Apple put it on Mac keyboard and trackpad, and the Apple TV remote. It appears the standard iPhone 7 will get a enlarged camera with an improved sensor, but the biggest upgrade will go to the iPhone 7 Plus’ camera.

According to Phone Arena, the numbers have been leaked in Chinese Yuan.

This is an indication that Apple probably isn’t going all in on wireless AirPods with the new phones-it’s instead modifying the existing cable to fit into the lightning jack.
