Aguero facing possible Manchester derby ban
Manchester City will now face a nervous wait to find out if referee Andre Marriner witnessed the incident and if, as seems likely, he did not, whether the FA decides to charge Aguero with violent conduct, which could lead to a three-match ban.

Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero has been charged by the FA with violent conduct.
Several reports indicate that Aguero “is set for a potential three-match ban” which could force him to miss the tantalising Manchester derby with Manchester United on September 10.
“I didn’t see it so I can not comment”.
Aguero opened the scoring on matchday one against Sunderland before scoring twice against Stoke City last week to help maintain City’s 100 per cent record so far under Pep Guardiola.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, meanwhile, also missed the clash in real time, but the loss of Reid to injury was another blow to his already under-strength squad.
That deficit could have been greater, and to their credit the visitors were much improved after the break – with Michail Antonio heading home after 58 minutes to give them a way back into the game.
Bilic said: “At half time I wasn’t happy, but I asked the guys to show the character, the spirit, the attitude and mentality which they basically did in the second half”. Second half he was better, but of course we are so pleased. With three goals in two league games and a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League qualifier, the Argentine striker has put aside the summer’s Copa America disappointment and started the season with a bang. He can play right, left, he is so dynamic, so aggressive with the ball and without the ball.

“Raz has scored two goals – that was good – but the games before this were more brilliant than today”. “With so many players we are missing, you have to praise the team”, he said.
