He has completed his medical and will spend the remainder of this season with the La Liga club.
But Nasri had shown signs of turning the situation around as he appeared as a substitute against West Ham at the weekend and Guardiola then said he would remain in his thoughts if he stayed.
But the midfielder missed two friendlies in City’s pre-season tour of China due to being overweight and subsequently failed to secure a role in Guardiola’s side for the new campaign.
“The attacker arrives on loan from Manchester City until June 30 2017 without an option to buy”, Sevilla said in a statement.
When the game goes you can not get it back, so it was a great learning curve for me past year and I feel I have come out of it stronger and a better person and player.

‘I really enjoy the training and learning new things from him, ‘ Stones said.
But hamstring and thigh injuries restricted the Frenchman to making just 13 appearances under Manuel Pellegrini last term.
“I’m fine. I made the preseason with my former team and I played on Sunday”, he said.
Past year was hard for me, on and off the pitch, but now I really want to show my game in Seville. The gaffer knew how I played and it was just fine-tuning a few things and getting on the same page.

“‘Reborn’, I keep seeing that word”, Sterling told Sky Sports after his Man of the Match display against West Ham. “There are two new managers at both clubs and I am looking forward to playing in the game”. “I very much like the spirit of [Argentine coach] Marcelo Bielsa, and Jorge Sampaoli has it too, and I like the fact that he wants the team to have the ball”. “This is the best league in the world and Sevilla is among the best four clubs and I would not have had that in Turkey”.
