The Los Angeles Police Department earlier said that officers from the homicide and robbery division, which deals with celebrity cases, headed to Brown’s palatial home after the woman called for help at 3:11 am on Tuesday.

A copy of the text message is reportedly with Chris Brown‘s attorney, Mark Geragos.

Brown, 27, is scheduled to appear in municipal court September 20 on the assault charge, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department site.

Curran says the hours long stand-off with police began when someone brought over a box of expensive diamond jewelry which she says she was admiring.

Brown was arrested on charges of assault when he threatened beauty queen, Baylee Curran with a gun.

He was released late Tuesday night after posting $250,000 bail, according to L.A. County jail records.

“What I do care about is you are defacing my name and my character and integrity”, he said, saying he had done nothing wrong and criticizing police actions. If the text was actually sent it will be damning evidence against Curran and vindicate Brown’s claim that he was innocent.

In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault involving his girlfriend at the time, singer Rihanna. “When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy”.

Brown was charged for hitting a man outside his tour bus in Washington in 2013 and is accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto.

The entertainer also was accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto following a counseling session.
