Chris Brown ‘tested for drugs’ in jail

The 25-year-old said that she was then walked to the front yard by two of Brown’s friends who were hesitant to give back her cellphone, which they had taken when she first entered the home.

Curran, terrified that Brown might shoot her, exited the property and sought refuge at a neighboring property.

A Los Angeles Police Department representative briefs the media after singer Chris Brown was driven away and hidden from the media gathered outside his home in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles, California on Tuesday.

Brown was released on bail of $250,000 bail late on Tuesday night, according to online county records.

Brown is scheduled for arraignment on the charge on September 20th at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, NBC Los Angeles reports.

Police said the standoff began with a 911 call from a woman.

According to the woman involved Baylee Curran, she was at Brown’s home with another business associate who had been invited by Brown to discuss some future projects. “Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, “I’m getting so sick of you people, ‘ pointed the gun at me, [and told me] to get the ‘F” out of the house”.

Brown said in a video he posted on Instagram: “I don’t care if you all are going to stay playing with me like I am the villain out here, like I am going insane”. The police said Brown was cooperative and did not confirm whether weapons were recovered from the home. But in another, Curran insisted that she never put her hands on the necklace. Geragos took to social media after Brown was released from custody.

Bruno Mars and wrestler Hulk Hogan also tweeted their support for the singer and Chris’ lawyer Mark Geragos called the allegations “demonstrably false”, while Baylee has spoken to news outlets to share her version of events. Curran told TMZ she never sent it, and TMZ says they spoke to Safari, who said he had not been in contact with Curran since past year.

Brown was ordered to attend a rehabilitation centre as a result, but was then kicked out of the facility for breaking its rules.

In another incident while in treatment, Brown was accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s vehicle following a counseling session. It came after Brown had completed court-ordered anger management classes.
