Singer Chris Brown bailed out of jail

The arrest, which occurred outside the view of several news helicopters that swirled overhead and throngs of camera crews that gathered at the bottom of Brown’s hilltop estate, marked the conclusion of a almost 14-hour-long standoff and investigation by police.

The question still remains: Did Baylee Curran lie when she called the cops and claimed Chris Brown pulled a gun on her? TMZ is reporting that at some point during the standoff, the R&B singer threw a duffel bag out of a window and that when cops conducted the search warrant, they found two guns as well as drugs.

Curran told the LA Times that she and a friend had gone to Brown’s house with a business associate on Monday evening.

Baylee Curran said Brown and another man had become angry when she admired a diamond necklace – telling the LA Times she was chased out of the house and had to hide under a nearby vehicle with a friend. “The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy”. “A lot of violence is going on in the world right now and I think that we all kind of need to wake up to it and reunite and just share the love, I guess”.

Brown was released on bail of $250,000 bail late on Tuesday night, according to online county records.

Less than a day after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Chris Brown is back to focusing on his music.

Brown is scheduled to appear in court on September 20 to deal with the charges. The rapper was accused of domestic violence towards his then-girlfriend Rihanna a few years ago.

Brown struck a man outside a Washington DC hotel in 2013 and was charged with misdemeanor assault. Brown denied any wrongdoing through social media including posting videos on his Instagram account inviting police to obtain a search warrant.
