Merson questions Arsenal over Wilshere loan deal
Jack Wilshere hopes his loan move to Bournemouth can help him “develop” as a player after being deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal.

But one Arsenal fan predicted the move would happen – lats June.
If you had said five years ago that Jack Wilshere will be playing for Bournemouth in a bid to revive his career, not a single person would have believed you.
34 – the number of deals involving Premier League clubs on Wednesday – 16 arrivals, 12 departures and six players moving within the division. Listen to Colm Parkinson, Senan Connell, and Barry Cahill dissect a classic between Dublin and Kerry.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that AS Roma have also shown interest in the out-of-favour Gunners midfielder.
“I’m delighted to have joined Bournemouth on a season long loan and would like to thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome”, Wilshere wrote on Twitter.
The deal is a boost to Bournemouth, who are in their second season in the Premier League and have taken just one point from their first three games.
That meant Sam Allardyce opting against picking the 24-year-old in his first England squad, which in turn led to Wilshere asking Wenger for a move away this season in order to get back into his groove.
“The people in charge in Bremen worked very hard to bring me here, and I am sure that this will be a successful move”.
The presence of Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil at Arsenal means they are well-stocked in midfield, even without Wilshere.
Bournemouth is set to pay the whole of Wilshere’s £90,000 weekly wages, apart from a payment of £2m in loan fees to Arsenal.
Wilshere met Bournemouth officials including manager Eddie Howe on Tuesday, and also held a similar meeting with Palace manager Alan Pardew.

And boss Howe admitted former Wolves frontman Afobe had aided Wilshere’s decision to join the Dorset side on a temporary basis.
