Clinton aide Abedin leaves husband after new ´sexting´ revelations
Richard Johnson said, “More scandals in the DNC why am I not surprised”.

The New York Post published photos late Sunday that it said Weiner had sent a year ago to a woman identified only as a “40-something divorcee” who lives in the West and supports Republican Donald Trump.
In 2011 he mistakenly sent a photo of his crotch, wearing only underpants, to all his Twitter followers, instead of just the young woman with whom he was flirting over the Internet.
Abedin and Weiner were married in 2010 at a wedding officiated by former President Bill Clinton.
The 41-year-old Abedin, now vice chairwoman of Clinton’s campaign, began working for the former first lady while a student at George Washington University in 1996. “I know Anthony Weiner well, and she will be far better off without him”.
On the streets of D.C., people were shocked.
At the time, Ms Abedin defended the decision to remain by her husband’s side, saying it was “made for me, for our son, and for our family”. “It is possible that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this”, he said in the statement.
The statement went on to criticise Clinton for allowing Weiner close proximity to classified information, suggesting that this had compromised United States security. “[He] denied sending the photo and claimed his Twitter account had been hacked before ultimately admitting to texting lewd pictures of himself to multiple women”, USA Today says.
Weiner, a documentary released in May, followed the politician’s failed mayoral bid and his strained marriage in the wake of revelations that he had again been exchanging messages with other women.

Abedin has come under scrutiny during the presidential campaign as part of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and allegations that donors to the Clinton Foundation were granted access at the State Department during Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. Abedin has been a close Clinton aide for two decades.
Abedin chose to stay with her husband at the time.
The Facebook messages were just another slap in the face for Weiner’s beleaguered wife, Huma Abedin, who has announced their divorce amid the new sexting scandal. At the time, Abedin was pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Campaign officials had braced for fresh revelations about Mr Weiner after the Post reported earlier this month that a Republican had baited Mr Weiner into a sexual online chat.
Abedin began working for the former first lady as a White House intern and became a trusted aide and adviser as Clinton won a seat in the Senate representing NY in 2000, ran for president in 2008 and served as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state.
