Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz remained mum Friday on the fate of his embattled player Patrick Kane, who faces a police investigation in New York State.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity Monday because authorities have not revealed any details of the investigation being conducted by Hamburg police.
Kane was accused of sexual assaulting a woman at his Hamburg home on August 2nd, but the investigation is still ongoing and Kane hasn’t been charged at this time. He has helped the Blackhawks win three Stanley Cup championships in the past six seasons.
The Buffalo News reported English is Kane’s longtime friend and has worked for him for five years. “It wasn’t her idea to go there”.
Wirtz wouldn’t say what exactly he’s hopeful about, whether he’s been in contact with Kane, or whether Kane will join the team for upcoming practices.
Speaking to the Buffalo News, Lt. Thomas English said he took Kane, Kane’s male friend, the alleged victim, and the alleged victim’s female friend to Kane’s house.
The lieutenant acknowledged that he has no way of knowing what happened between Kane and the alleged victim inside the house.
