The Vikings placed Bridgewater on injured reserve Wednesday, a day after the third-year quarterback tore his ACL and suffered other structural damage at practice.

The season-ending injury to Bridgewater is a devastating blow to those expectations. “We’re not going to make excuses”.
Justin Noble said Bridgewater’s injury is a tough way to start the season. An ambulance took Bridgewater from the team’s headdquarters moments after the injury. Specifics were slim while the team awaited test results, but the stunned faces on the players exiting the practice field and tweets of prayers for one of the team’s most popular members painted the picture of a shaken franchise. “I think that would definitely add time to his recovery”, Dr. Morgan said.
