As with every major Android update, the update won’t be hitting everyone immediately.
The operating system is being released with more than 250 features, including a virtual reality mode, a new JIT/AOT compiler, support for Vulkan, multi-window support, and direct reply capabilities.
Google has announced in a blog post that it has started a worldwide rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat updates for Nexus smartphone users worldwide. There are 72 new emoji in Nougat, bringing the total number of emoji to more than 1,500.
Google provided download links to the same OTAs that will be rolling soon for smartphone owners that already have the Android Developer Preview 4, but want a faster update.
As soon as your device is part of the beta program, you will get an over the air update for the Nougat.
