Although courses made with Super Mario Maker 3DS can not be shared online, players will be able to connect to the internet to download and play select courses from the Wii U version.

Identical to its console counterpart, the game allows players to create their own unique Super Mario levels.
Pikmin for Nintendo 3DS is set to launch in 2017. This new game for the 3DS includes, soccer, baseball, tennis, gold, and horse racing. Not only that, you’ll also be able to share unfinished levels, again via local wireless.
Continuing this Nintendo Direct Roundup, Nintendo fans who missed Yoshi’s Wooly World on Wii U should be happy to know it’s coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
The original game that launched the Zelda franchise will be included when the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition launches on November 11. There are a number of upcoming games on the release schedule for the 3DS so expect many of those to be mentioned. Nintendo announced the game showed off gameplay during its 3DS-focused Direct on Thursday. We’ll have more on it as it comes.
Out of the box, Nintendo says we’ll get 100 Nintendo-designed courses and the same Super Mario Maker toolset Wii U now enjoy, save for Mystery Mushrooms (a special transformative power-up).
Keep in mind that every lick of this is rumor at this point, originally posted over on Let’s Play Video Games. In addition to single-player tournaments, each sport can be played in a local and online multiplayer modes.

Super Mario Maker is coming to the 3DS this Fall! Which is great, except for one flaw: online play is a necessity for that game to find new levels, and you’re not always near a wi-fi hotspot when playing the 3DS. As the familiar hero Captain Olimar, the player will press through two-dimensional levels, solving environmental puzzles and attacking enemies with a band of tiny pikmin creatures.
