Sonam Kapoor follows Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra
We wish the actress for her new venture with UTA. We’re proud of our B-town girls and it’s time the West prepares enough for it. “I know this is going to be an epic partnership!”, Sonam Kapoor wrote on Instagram. Though it is unclear whether she will be taking up any Hollywood project anytime soon, the news makes sure that Sonam is definitely up for it.

In all probability, Sonam was waiting for the announcement to come from the agency’s end. We’d zero clue what was cooking.
CINEWS wonders why Indian film journalists forget to mention Frieda Pinto who made a name in Hollywood before Deepika and Priyanka, in the same breadth as other stars. He has starred in films like Slumdog Millionaire and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. He also starred in a recurring character in a season of the hit thriller. We bet the west town will welcome Anil’s daughter with lots of love and support.
Many Bollywood women seem to be Hollywood-bound. Sonam is set to join the race, although guess now the contest won’t be just limited between the two actresses.

While Sonam hasn’t featured in any worldwide project (unless you count the video for the Coldplay song Hymm For The Weekend, in which she has a brief appearance), her father Anil Kapoor has acted in films like Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, Brad Bird’s Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and a cameo in The Simpsons. Her last release in Bollywood was the hijack thriller Neerja, which got critical acclaim and commercial success. She will be next seen in Veere De Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor.
