Bad weather in Florida has forced Tim Kaine to scrap plans in one closely fought state and campaign in another.
The Democratic vice presidential candidate is stopping by two popular New Hampshire locales Thursday for some retail campaigning on his last-minute trip to the state.
Will Trump’s speech move the polls, close the gap with Clinton?
The speech followed weeks of speculation that Trump might begin to moderate his tone and stance, yet he did the exact opposite, doubling down on his calls for border security and telling the crowd there would be “no amnesty” for undocumented migrants living in the USA under his presidency.
Alberto Delgado, a Miami pastor, said on MSNBC Live Thursday that he is not happy with Trump’s statements on immigration, but will stay on the Hispanic Advisory Council anyway in hopes of convincing the candidate to improve his positions on deportation.
The campaign said 2.3 million people have donated directly to her campaign, at an average of about $50.
Trump talked about limiting immigration to its historic norms. In a new Fox News poll released Wednesday, 48 percent of Trump supporters said they would be more likely to vote for Trump if he softened his stance on immigration.
The proposal by Peter Navarro came as the Republican presidential candidate prompted a renewed furore over his immigration policy, with a speech that called for the immediate deportation of millions of undocumented workers and reignited his row with the Mexican government over border controls.
Perhaps the most surprising proposal was what appeared to be a new standard for immigrants, based on “merit, skill and proficiency” – a test that critics said would have excluded numerous labourers who were early immigrants to the United States.
It’s the second time Biden has campaigned for Clinton.
While Biden repeated throughout the speech that Clinton “gets it” when it comes to the middle class, he largely concentrated on the role of unions in revitalizing the American auto industry.
Biden is scheduled to appear at a UAW union hall later Thursday outside of Cleveland.
Donald Trump’s entire presidential candidacy is built upon the idea that America needs to be saved from undocumented immigrants that are “flooding” into the country.
Trump says that he expects to win the crucial battleground state of OH in November.
President Enrique Pena Nieto has been ridiculed in his country for inviting Trump, as well as for not confronting him more directly about comments calling migrants from Mexico criminals, drug-runners and “rapists”, and Trump’s vows to build a border wall and force Mexico to pay for it.
Kaine, campaigning in New Hampshire, is casting Trump as gutless.
“We will use the best technology, including above and below ground sensors. towers, aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall”.
Trump says discussions about the border wall did not come up during the meeting, but he’s still insists that Mexico will pay for it. Peña Nieto says he made clear to Trump that Mexico will not pay for the wall.
Kaine says Trump “choked, he caved, he lost his confidence, he lost his will”.

Sanctuary laws came under fire a year ago when San Francisco, following its laws, released Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a convicted felon who had been deported to Mexico five times before without alerting federal immigration authorities. “What Trump has done is essentially create a crisis and exacerbate the level of anger, frustration and apprehension among many Americans”.
