Alex Hales unsure on Bangladesh tour amid reports of delayed squad announcement

Hales had managed just 145 runs at an average of 18.12 during England’s preceding 2-2 Test series with Pakistan.
England struck a world record one-day worldwide total of 444-3 as they crushed Pakistan by 169 runs at Trent Bridge to take an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
“If you choose not to go to Bangladesh you’re risking your spot, particularly me”, he said, fresh from hitting England’s highest all-time ODI score in a record-breaking match which established an unassailable 3-0 series lead.
The 27-year-old could only muster a paltry 166 runs in his previous 10 innings against Pakistan this season-eight in the Tests and the first two ODIs-before he smashed the 23-year-old record of Robin Smith as England’s highest individual ODI scorer with his 122-ball run fest on Tuesday. Both Hales and Root fell in quick succession to leave England 283 for three in 38 overs.
Pakistan has won the toss against England in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) on Thursday and chose to bat first.
Jos Buttler (90 not out) also punished Pakistan’s bowlers by notching England’s fastest ever ODI half century in just 22 balls.
There were certainly a few flaws in England’s fielding display, with dropped catches by Hales and Buttler preventing an even more emphatic margin of victory. It was that kind of a day for Hales and Root, who could do nothing wrong.
It was England’s fourth consecutive bilateral series win against Pakistan.
No. 11 batsman Mohammad Amir made a rapid 58 off 28 balls and opening batsman Sharjeel Khan also scored 58 to give the total some respectability before Pakistan were bowled out for 275 in 42.4 overs.

Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali shared five wickets between them, Rashid – one of five Yorkshire players in the side – taking 3 for 47 on his home ground. However, Woakes returned and wrapped up the innings by having Amir caught off his own bowling.
