Dr. Joe Greene has treated athletes with ACL injuries and he says former Louisville Cardinal Teddy Bridgewater has a long road ahead of him after tearing his ACL and dislocating his knee during the Minnesota Vikings practice on Tuesday.

A group of six or seven Minnesota Vikings players took a trip to visit quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the hospital last Tuesday, the day he suffered his devastating knee injury.
When asked if he had any hope for Bridgewater returning this season, Zimmer said, “I don’t know”. “We’re going to grieve today and be upset about it”. “We walked into the room and he was smiling like his normal self and was like, ‘Man, I’m good”.
“There’s no one in the organization who doesn’t think Shaun Hill can take us where we want to go”, Spielman said, via Mark Craig of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
In typical Peterson fashion, he’s not backing off his feeling that the Vikings are capable of making a run to the Super Bowl, even though veteran journeyman Shaun Hill is now the Vikings’ starter. “I got the notification on my phone”, Kendra Hutchinson said standing next to her boyfriend who was wearing a Bridgewater jersey. “We’re going to fight like we always do”.
“Hopefully we’re talking about Teddy the same way next year at this time”, he said.
As Minnesota Vikings fans came to grips with the grim reality that they would face the 2016 season without quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the National Football League world collectively held its breath awaiting his medical fate and what exactly he is facing physically. “The No. 1 thing is Teddy is such a great kid”, Everyone loves him”. He’s been in 2-minute drills.
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he briefly spoke with Bridgewater after the injury and said he told the 23-year-old, “Hang in there”. He missed the second preseason game with a shoulder issue, but featured on Sunday against San Diego.
Earlier Tuesday, the Vikings waived quarterback Brad Sorensen.
