Capture of Bon Iver’s last video clip form YouTube.LONDON, Aug 29 – Bon Iver have dropped a new track from their upcoming album 22, A Million. The record then shifts with the inclusion of new instrumental elements and a new sound.
In a press release, the band explained the concept behind the album. They’ll be playing 22, A Million songs and more during their three-night run at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California in mid-October, so be sure to check them out there if you want a taste of what we’re in store for with the new effort.
The release comes after the first two tracks, 22 (OVER S∞∞N) and dEAThbREasT surprised fans in recent weeks. And the inner-resolution of maybe never finding that understanding.
From acapella to one of the more experimental beginnings of the entire record, 33 “GOD” begins with flickering, jolting samples that are laid on optimistic keys.
While the rest of y’all were watching the VMAs or sleeping, the countdown to the new Bon Iver album continues with another cut from 22, A Million.
