However, the story is still expected to go back to the “Upside Down”. We all knew the smash-hit horror series would return, so the really exciting thing about this news is the accompanying teaser trailer.

In a short teaser for the second season, it’s revealed that Stranger Things will pick up in “the fall of 1984”. But he’s brilliant. And I think one of the reasons his sequels are as successful as they are is he makes them feel very different without losing what we loved about the original.

Nearly immediately following the announcement, Entertainment Weekly published an interview with creators the Duffer Brothers to get to scoop on Season 2.

The first season was viewed by 14.4 million people in the five weeks follwiing its launch on Netflix in mid-July. Dan Cohen, who also executive produces the Matt and Ross Duffer creation, divulged that the writers already have an idea on what to do for the second season in terms of the story. He said, the opening scene does not take place in Hawkins.

Like any good show, the eight episodes of season one left us hanging, giving us way too much rope to work with when it comes to fan theories.

The second season will also reveal more about the seldom-seen Upside Down.

These titles leave us wondering what unusual occurrences will happen next, although we can probably expect to see how Will is coping now that he has returned from the Upside Down.

Another question, you see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) disappeared after she faced the monster from the upside down world. It will still follow the same characters while adding more mysteries.
