‘Stranger Things’ Officially Renewed for Season 2 – Watch the Teaser Here!
We all knew the smash-hit horror series would return, so the really exciting thing about this news is the accompanying teaser trailer. Netflix has been known to renew just about everything, sometimes even before the season one premiere, and Stranger Things is believed to be one of the most-watched Netflix original series of all time.

“Stranger Things” is officially picked up for second season by Netflix following rave reviews.
Haven’t seen the Season 1 yet? Taking music cues from Carpenter, visual storytelling finesse from Spielberg and mixing it up with a story straight out of Steven King’s finest work – Stranger Things is huge, and with good reason.
Although this is the first official confirmation, the second season has been a foregone conclusion from the beginning, so we already know some details. “We leave [Eleven’s fate] up in the air”, said Ross Duffer. We see what you did there, Duffer brothers. Netflix released a short clip announcing the news on Wednesday morning with text that read, In the fall of 1984, the adventure continues.
‘So part of what we want to do with hypothetical season two is to explore the repercussions of everything that happened’.
The Duffers told EW.com that they considered using a flash-forward for Season 2 before settling on simply continuing the story from where Season 1 left off.
“We obviously have this gate to another dimension, which is still very much open in the town of Hawkins”, Ross Duffer said. And a lot of questions there in terms of, if the Monster is dead, was it a singular monster?

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, with the first season available in its entirety on Netflix. “There’s a lot more mystery there to be solved.” says Ross.
