Arsenal are reportedly “convinced” that their capture of Shkodran Mustafi will prove significant in getting Mesut Ozil to sign a new deal at the club.
“I have to admit that in the first few days there was an undeniable nervousness”, Xhaka told Appenzeller Zeitung – per Sky Sports.
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been described as being like two players rolled into one by former Gunner Adrian Clarke.
According to The Mirror, that situation could be about to get even more complicated as it’s claimed that Sanchez has demanded that a fixed-price buy-out clause is inserted into any new deal that he agrees to with the club.
“You become aware of the global perception of Arsenal when you’re on the tour of the USA”.
“I knew before I arrived that the pressure at a club that challenges for the title grows quickly”.
The Gunners won their first Premier League game of the season on Saturday as they beat Watford 3-1 at Vicarage Road.
Arsenal’s next fixture see’s them pitted against Southampton.

By recruiting Mustafi for over £35 million-not to mention Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez, Rob Harding and Takuma Asano at a total summer spend of close to £100 million-they believe they have shown him the ambition he wants to see before extending his stay beyond the two years remaining on his deal. You want him to be free from his statements and it’s always hard for him to be really objective sometimes, and even a bit harsh, and then come in and face the players.
