The Minnesota Vikings’ worst fears were confirmed on Tuesday night, as quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s MRI revealed a dislocated left knee and a torn ACL, ending his 2016 season less than two weeks before it was supposed to begin. Currently Jordy Nelson and Kelvin Benjamin are returning from similar injuries suffered a year ago at relatively the same time frame, and both are set to start Week 1 for their respective teams.

Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn was in a group of about seven players who went to the hospital where Bridgewater was taken by ambulance so they could visit their teammate.
“Teddy’s such a great kid”, Zimmer said. “I love this kid, honestly.
