The France worldwide left Newcastle for Tottenham in a last-minute £30million move on Wednesday, reportedly snubbing Everton in the process.

The move the the Bernabeu has failed to materialise, but it seems likely that Sissoko will be leaving Newcastle on transfer deadline day.
Addressing the Spurs fans in a video on Twitter, Sissoko said: “I will give everything for you, for the team and I hope we will win a lot of games, a lot of titles”.
But, they’ve attempted to save some face by suggesting they dropped out of the race to sign Sissoko because the deal was set to “jeopardize” McCarthy’s place at Everton.
“But I was in London, waiting to sign my contract (with Spurs). But when I bought into Everton, I made it clear I was proud to join a family”, a statement from Moshiri read. I’m sure Hugo was bending the ears of all kinds of his French teammates while he was on global duty in this summer’s Euros.
Sissoko starred for France at this summer’s Euro 2016 but he had stated a desire to leave St. James’ Park after the club’s relegation to the Championship, and he is yet to feature this season. “I was only missing playing for the cup with the big ears [Champions League]”. The midfielder arrived at White Hart Lane on deadline day from Newcastle United. “It’s true that Wednesday was rather stressful, t was completed in the final hours”. “It’s a really great English club with a lot of ambition, which is the reason why I have moved here”.
Moussa Sissoko of France and Tottenham Hotspur at Stade de France, Paris, July 10.
He told the club’s official website: “We will work well together as we have the same objectives”.
“I think Jack is Arsenal’s best left-footed midfielder since Liam Brady, but injury has robbed him of much of his career”, the Arsenal legend explained.
