“A large police presence could be seen outside Brown’s home on aerial footage from CNN affiliates Tuesday”. The former Miss California beauty contestant alleged that Brown assaulted her with a gun.
Brown’s alleged victim, Baylee Curran claimed Brown suddenly became angry, pointed a gun, and shouted at her to leave the Southern California property on August 30.
Reportedly a woman has claimed that Brown pointed a gun at her before she made an escape which of course got LAPD involved.
Brown says in video posts on Instagram that he’s innocent and rebutted reports that he had barricaded himself in his home.
This post will be updated. His next court date is set for September 20.
The singer released What Would You Do? on Wednesday night (US time).
Curran’s call to police prompted a response that led to a 14-hour standoff, the Associated Press reported. Brown was later arrested and then released from jail after posting a $250,000 bail.
Police are still investigating the case and are continuing to look into her claims. A search warrant was served and everyone in Brown’s home was brought outside as the police did a protective sweep of the home.
This morning Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos released a tweet that read, “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy”.
Baylee Curran, who has accused Chris Brown of threatening her with a gun, wants police “protection” from him.
In 2013, he was charged with assault after striking a man outside a hotel in Washington DC. The singer was ordered into rehab then dismissed from the facility for violating its rules.

The entertainer also was accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto following a counseling session. Brown’s probation ended a year ago, so according to Slaten he can’t be “thrown in the slammer” for probation violation.
