“Incompetent” Obama and Kerry “Sold Out” Israel with Nuclear Deal

In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, the real estate mogul described the team that negotiated the agreement, including Secretary of State John Kerry, as “incompetent”.

Obama needs the support of at least 34 senators to sustain a veto if Congress passes legislation to block the agreement.

The board further said it would push the U.S. government to make credible the military option against Iran, to intensify global efforts against Iran’s sponsorship of terrorism and to upgrade military cooperation with Israel, including possibly making Israel a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member.

The deal also provides an inspection of a suspected nuclear site would take place within 24 days. If the U.S. backs out of the deal, Iran will do the same, citing passages in the text of the agreement that allow it to do so.

The critics haven’t abandoned the fight.

McCarthy, R-Calif., was in Israel with a delegation of 36 Republican congressmen. And US lawmakers are already gearing up for the next big fight. Those sanctions wouldn’t apply as long as Iran abides by the deal, but the Obama administration says passing such a bill could cause problems for the agreement.

The board expressed gratitude for the Obama administration’s focus on the Iranian nuclear threat, but went on to say that the Iran deal should be strengthened, war is not the only alternative to the deal (Obama has claimed it is) and Israel is being singled out.

And Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., the chairman of the Senate foreign aid panel and a long-shot presidential candidate, vowed August 13 to cut funding for the UN’s atomic watchdog agency if its confidential monitoring agreement with Iran isn’t shared with Congress.
