New Apple iPhone Unveiling Expected Next Week

This year could be a complete rework of Apple’s cash cow, and there has been a lot of rumors about the redesign. We now have an official date!

On 7 September in Cupertino, the company is hosting a special event. See you on the 7th kind of hint the name of the new generation model.

Apple has given out media invites today (30 Aug) to its next event on 7 Sep at Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco.

For those who aren’t invited, Apple will live stream the keynote on their website.

Thankfully, in just over a week, all this will be put to bed when Tim Cook will step onto a stage in San Francisco and show us exactly what the next iPhone looks like.

The smaller iPhone aka the iPhone 7 may not get the dual camera that the bigger phone may sport.

One major change that is expected, however, is the removal of the smartphone’s headphone jack. The document also reveals that a Lightning to headphone jack adapter will also come along in the box. It was during this event that Apple announced new versions of its operating systems, including iOS 10, macOS Sierra and watchOS 2. Will Apple start the pre-orders on the Friday after the event with the actual release a week after that?

Apple is expected to launch a larger, dual-camera model of iPhone – allowing it to capture brighter photos with more detail. The home button is likely going to be touch sensitive.

Whatever it means, we’ll find out soon enough. On the other hand, iPhone 7 Plus will be available at 6,088 yuan (approx Rs 61,200), 6,888 yuan (approx Rs 69,200), and 7,888 yuan (approx Rs 79,300) respectively.
