Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them begins filming
Shooting on the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is underway, with director David Yates (every Potter since The Order Of The Phoenix) conducting the magic as before. Studios in Leavesden, with David Yates directing.

Today marks the beginning of principal photography.
Academy Award victor Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stars as Newt Scamander, the wizarding worlds preeminent magizoologist, who stops in New York following his travels to find and document magical creatures. More on this story below.
“The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt’s story will start in New York, 70 years before Harry’s gets under way”. Colin Farrell also stars, though his role is unknown.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them now has a worldwide release date – including 3D and IMAX versions – of November 18, 2016.
