At the same time, Telltale will launch a physical format edition of the game, which will include the first chapter and a code to download the rest of the season.

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead adaptation is delivering more of its compelling interactive narrative this November with “A New Frontier”, the third season in the series.
“This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set almost four years after the outbreak events of Season One”, said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. The third installment is to be called The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier, which is a mouthful.
It will be interesting to see Clementine from this new perspective, getting to know her all over again.
With such a strong recent history, gamers will undoubtedly have high expectations for The Walking Dead: Season Three, as well as Telltale’s other upcoming titles, including a Marvel game and Game of Thrones: Season Two. You’ll play as both Javier and Clementine through the course of the season, but exactly how that works is one of the exciting details we’re not quite yet ready to reveal.
In addition to releasing The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier digitally, Telltale also plans to release a “Season Pass Disc” containing the first episode.
The new season will continue to follow the journey of Clementine, the central character in both previous seasons. What they haven’t confirmed is what platforms TWD will be coming to, and if Xbox 360 and PS3 will be included.
But as Telltale executive producer Kevin Boyle explains, there’s now some mystery thrown in with the horror.

The new series features the return of the much-loved Clementine as well as introducing new protagonist Javier, a man struggling to keep his own family together.
