The franchise traded up in the second round in 2013 to draft Hunter out of Tennessee, and spent their 2014 second-round pick on Sankey, the first running back selected in that draft.

McCluster has 1,040 rushing yards, 1,957 receiving yards, and 12 total touchdowns in six National Football League seasons.
After a promising start to the 2015 season, Hunter underwent season-ending surgery to fix a fractured ankle.
The Titans now no longer have a second-round pick from any draft between 2011 and 2015.
General manager Jon Robinson and coach Mike Mularkey promised a makeover of the Tennessee Titans’ roster before the regular season when the duo was formally introduced in January, and they took their biggest step thus far on Friday. McCluster, who also often lined up at wide receiver, is at least somewhat of a surprise cut because he was a unique player in a unique offense. Mularkey said the lineman played well in the Titans’ win Thursday night at Miami to wrap up the preseason. The writing seemed to be on the wall for Sankey when the Titans drafted Henry in Round 2 – and then told third-round safety Kevin Byard that Sankey’s No. 20 jersey was available in May (even though Sankey kept 20 this preseason, Byard also wore it).
