Benik’s honesty aided Cherries loan move for Wilshere

Wilshere, whose lack of game time didn’t hamper his inclusion in England’s Euro 2016 squad, has been highly regarded as one of the Gunners’ key to its next Premier League title.

More details have been revealed about Jack Wilshere’s move to Bournemouth with the Daily Star claiming that it was the Cherries “willingness to pay top dollar” for the England worldwide that resulted in their winning the race to sign the 24-year-old Gunner.

Jack Wilshere hopes his loan move to Bournemouth can help him “develop” as a player after being deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal.

AC Milan and Crystal Palace were also among those to make loan offers, and Arsenal evaluated each one before opting for Bournemouth’s because theirs “represented the best financial value for the club”. And I also think it shows a degree of selflessness on Arsene Wenger’s part – he’s such a talented player but he shouldn’t be trapped into not being able to play. “Jack is obviously out there on his own with his profile and what we’ve attracted before”.

“He’s a very, very good player – that’s the level of player we are trying to bring to the club”.

“I am looking forward to working hard every day with the coaching staff and my new teammates to help the club achieve success on the pitch”. He can definitely compliment the style of football and the way that we play and maybe add that missing piece of the jigsaw that we need.

Wilshere made his Arsenal debut at the age of 16 and has shown electrifying form for both the Gunners and England at times, but injuries have hampered his career and he missed almost all of last season with a broken ankle.

Wilshere has made 159 appearances for Arsenal and as well as gaining lots of UEFA Champions League experience, he has lifted the FA Cup on two occasions and represented England on 34 occasions.
