Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has defended Alberto Moreno in the wake of recent criticism and feels the reaction to the Spaniard’s performance in the 4-3 win over Arsenal has been exaggerated.

Jürgen Klopp believes his players must take greater care of the ball if they are to avoid falling victim to the type of counter-attacking performance that saw Burnley claim a 2-0 win on Saturday.
With a lack of solidity in midfield and James Milner being forced to drop into the left-back position after more question marks were raised over Alberto Moreno last weekend, there are obvious problem areas that Klopp needs to fix.
Yet the frequency of the crash-landings they also endure hint at fundamental flaws which have not been addressed and will undermine the chances of reaching where they want to get to.
