Sources said the decision to sack Kumar was taken before Kejriwal left for the Vatican City yesterday to attend the canonisation of Mother Teresa. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the true face of AAP was exposed by the woman.
A case of rape and under sections of the IT Act was subsequently registered against the ex-minister even as the woman was sent for a medical examination.
Sandeep Kumar is the third minister to be sacked by Mr Kejriwal since his government took office in February a year ago.

The suspension of his primary membership of the party comes almost four days after the decision to remove the 36-year-old minister was taken at a high-level meeting attended by top AAP leaders.
Last month Kejriwal had asked Kumar to abort a poorly-conceived scheme to remove beggars from Delhi’s roads, by moving them to a state-run home. Social activists had said the plan lacked merit because it offered no rehabilitation prospects.
“If tomorrow allegations are levelled against me, the same actions would be taken against me”, Sisodia added.

This is not Kumar’s first rodeo regarding awkward sexual remarks. A lawyer, Kumar fought cases for economically and socially backward people, without taking any fees. He became third minister to be removed by the party.
