Josh Barnett, Alexander Gustafsson, Ryan Bader victorious in Germany
Ryan Bader, Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at today’s UFC Fight Night 93 event – and Barnett doubled up with an extra $50,000. Barnett submitted Arlovski with a rear-naked choke in the third round.

Now Bader moves forward after getting back on track with a huge win on Saturday and it certainly appeared like he was enjoying himself in the Octagon again.
With Gustafsson’s close decision losses to both UFC light heavyweight champions, this win puts Gustafsson right back into the title picture. It all became academic just over two minutes into the second round however, when “The Sledgehammer” ducked for a takedown on a charging Bader and was clattered with a knee to the face. Wins over Ovince Saint Preux, Phil Davis, and Rashad Evans made Bader worthy of a shot at the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
If people were wondering if Ryan Bader would come out a different fighter after being knocked out by Anthony Johnson in January, the short answer is no.
Latifi went flying backwards as he crashed to the canvas thanks to the force from Bader’s knee and the fight was stopped immediately from the vicious knockout. The entire card streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
With the victory, Bader improves to 21-5, now having won six of his last seven bouts.
