Though no LG devices appear on T-Mobile’s list, Google said the new LG V20 will become the first smartphone to ship with Android Nougat when it launches in the third quarter.

Many Android fans are now getting pretty hyped about the coming of Google’s Nexus 2016 handsets, particularly the highly rumored HTC phones, currently being referred to by their codenames: the Nexus Sailfish and Nexus Marlin.
The sources also claim that the Android user experience itself is also set for a change, as Google moves away from the previous builds to offer a broader range of extra software and services for its users.
According to Android Central, Google’s upcoming phones will feature additional software and a tweaked interface atop of vanilla Android.
Google’s 2016 Nexus smartphones are codenamed Marlin and Sailfish. But the company is simply killing the Nexus branding, only to replace it with a new product family, one that would put Google front and center. Google has been adding exclusive features and apps to the Nexus line-up, the most recent of it being the new WiFi data saving app released for the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
One of the greatest things about Android is that it is open sourced, and it updates itself once per year, assuming that your particular Android device is new enough.
Google has already released the stable version of Android 7.0 Nougat, but new Nexus devices have yet to hit the market. Google had partnered with HTC, Samsung, LG, Asus and Huawei to make the Nexus phones.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai had earlier said that the company was taking a greater interest in Nexus phones. As for prices, the Sailfish will apparently start at $449, while the Marlin will be priced at $599. With the official announcement coming really soon, rumors about the phones’ specifications become more and more widespread. Just today, we’ve reported that pictures of the Nexus Sailfish surfaced on the Internet, showing the handset from all angles.
