Artwork goes up in flames as Burning Man festival winds down
“We have felt like we’ve been sabotaged from every angle, but last night’s chain of events, while we were all out enjoying our handsome home, was an absolute and definitive confirmation that some feel we are not deserving of Burning Man”.

Burning Man organizers are estimating the regional economic impact of the festival to be $45 million this year.
White Ocean Camp is a “plug and play” set up at the festival, which have been controversial in previous years.
Unfortunately, this trust was marred Wednesday evening at the 2016 edition of the festival when the popular music camp, White Ocean, was brutally vandalized by an unknown group of “hooligans”.
The statement then went on to say the group has faced issues from other Burners this year.
However, it has been met with opposition by some Burners because it has hired helpers, which some believe runs against the festival’s pillar of “radical self-reliance” and anti-commodification, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
At the camp on Friday, numerous camp members were unaware of the event, though some said that they were experiencing bike theft and a lack of hot water.
“We provide one of the most state of the art stages on the playa and feed hundreds of non white ocean burners a day”.
This Burning Man festival’s main attraction is a giant Boeing 747 converted into an art vehicle.
“We came here to unite people through music and love”. They were uncertain whether either was related to the recent events.
Burning Man’s temporary metropolis has always looked like a settlement from the world of Mad Max, but it appears some of this year’s revelers have channeled the Hollywood movie’s dystopian baddies by attacking a luxury campsite at the festival.
The camp, which is located at 2:00 and Guild, a street intersection in Black Rock City, is at the edge of the city because the concerts usually creep into the morning hours from the night before.
White Ocean’s tenure at the Playa began in 2013, yet quickly built a name for itself with its artful stage designs and top-notch electronic acts primarily representing underground trance, progressive, and tech.

From its humble beginnings on San Francisco’s Ocean Beach, Burning Man has become a global destination for artists, dreamers, doers and those who want to spend a week in the desert with a makeshift pop-up community of over 70,000. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said it was not in its jurisdiction.
