Meizu M3 Max Smartphone Announced In China

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has launched its latest phablet – Meizu M3 Max, at an event in China. The device will be available in Champagne Gold, Gray, Silver and Rose Gold. The device will go on sale in its home country starting September 15 while pre-orders begin September 12. Meizu claims that the sensor can unlock the phone in just 2 seconds and users can also use it for secured payments via Alipay and WeChat services. Under the hood, the M3 Max is powered by Helio P10 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T860 GPU. The 32GB of Meizu M3 Max is expected to cost 1,799 Yuan (approximately Rs 18,080) while 64GB is rumoured to be priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,080) which will be accompanied by a mPen Stylus.

Meizu has added another new smartphone to its range with the launch of the new Meizu M3 Max and the handset comes with a 6 inch display. It sports a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens. As was also hinted, the battery is sizable, with the 4100 mAh juice pack able to charge to 45 percent in just half an hour. Just like many other Chinese smartphone launches, there is no information about the worldwide availability of the Meizu M3 Max.

The design of the M3 Max is very similar to the rest of the company’s lineup, sporting a metal unibody build with dual CNC processing. In terms of specifications, the device features a 6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

All usual connectivity options are supported by the smartphone along with support for 4G LTE. It measures 163. 4 x 81.6 x 7.94 mm and in comparison, the Mi Max with 6.44-inch display measures 173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm. The smartphone has a hybrid dual-sim slot and runs Linux-based YunOS.
