Brown, 27, was arrested at his Tarzana, California, home on Tuesday, after an hours-long police standoff.
Only problem? Brown reportedly tossed a duffel bag out the window of his home that contained weapons and drugs.
Brown’s alleged accuser is a woman named Baylee Curran, now the 2016 Miss California Regional title holder, according to TMZ and the Los Angeles Times.
“He is being transported to robbery homicide, where he will be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon”, Los Angeles Police Department’s Lieutenant Chris Ramirez told reporters at a media conference outside Brown’s home.
In the midst of his latest legal troubles, Chris Brown is still working.
“I’m not coming out – for what?” said Brown, in a video post broadcast on U.S. television and shared countless times online.
This post will be updated.
“You know all this bullshit, everything going on man, I’m just gonna turn the other cheek”, Brown said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department listed September 20 for Brown’s arraignment, though it’s subject to change.
Curran said that she had spent time with Brown “several times before” the alleged incident, but that he had never threatened her before.
Mark Geragos, Brown’s attorney, confirmed Brown’s release on Twitter.
In one Instagram video Brown, waving a cigarette and looking at the camera, says if and when police get the search warrant, they’ll find nothing at the home.
Brown took to Instagram Tuesday to deny any wrongdoing and to condemn police. Brown’s probation ended previous year, so according to Slaten he can’t be “thrown in the slammer” for probation violation.
Brown has won six awards throughout his singing career.

Most notoriously, he was convicted of beating then-girlfriend Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy Awards, forcing the pop singer to miss the music industry’s annual gala.
