The Pittsburgh Steelers placed Bud Dupree on the team’s Reserve/Injured List on Sunday.

The Steelers had high hopes for Kentucky product Bud Dupree in his second season with the team, but unfortunately Dupree will be unable to reach those goals. The following week against the San Francisco 49ers, he became the first Pittsburgh rookie since 2007 to record a sack in back-to-back games. Click through to see it.
In a corresponding move, the Steelers have re-signed inside linebacker Steven Johnson. Dupree missed all four preseason games with the injury. Johnson signed with the Steelers as an unrestricted free agent this offseason from the Tennessee Titans, and was released on Saturday when the team had to get down to the mandatory 53-man roster. Chickillo, a 2015 sixth-round pick, suffered a foot injury against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night and played just 22 of his 71 total snaps last season on defense.

Jarvis Jones, Arthur Moats and James Harrison will likely be the main contributors at outside linebacker with Dupree out of the lineup.
