Vladimir Putin slams Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton ‘shock’ tactics

The allegations that Russia hacked the Democratic Party are false and the USA public should not be allowed to be steered away by them from the facts exposed by the leaked material, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

Vladimir Putin said Russian Federation and the USA are close to striking a deal on fighting terrorists in Syria that would be a major step toward ending a civil war that’s flooded Europe with refugees and given rise to Islamic State.

Putin said it wasn’t important who conducted the hacking, but “what’s important is that there was material that was released to the public”.

“This is a national security issue and every American deserves answers about potential collusion between Trump campaign associates and the Kremlin”, he said.

Bloomberg also spoke with a “cybersecurity expert” at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington who said that Russia’s “track record” doesn’t lend much credibility to Putin’s denial.

While the overall narrative from the west is overwhelmingly leaning to the possibility that Russian state-sponsored hackers are behind the breaches, Russian president Putin is having none of it.

Some U.S. officials have stated that Russian Federation is attempting to influence the outcome of the upcoming presidential elections in November.

The same group is thought to be responsible for hacks of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “We have never interfered, are not interfering and do not intend to interfere in domestic politics”, he said.

“I was able to find a specific approach to move the negotiations forward”, Abe said following the talks with Putin.

Vladimir Putin further tried to reject accusations that he had any hand in the USA political election by implying that his government was not savvy enough to keep up with American politics, according to CNN.

Mr Putin dismissed the claim that cyberattacks on two Democratic organisations, as well as the Clinton Foundation were Russia’s doing.

The Republican nominee has seemed to enjoy sporadic attention shown him by Putin, such as when the Russian leader called Trump “colorful” and “very talented”. Both candidates, he said, had made use of “shock tactics”.

“We are now sensing the readiness of our Japanese partners to discuss issues tied to joint business activities on the islands”, Lavrov said, adding that the countries were also mulling humanitarian cooperation.
