In an unbelievable series of Facebook posts, Andy Didorosi, a Detroiter who runs The Detroit Bus Company, unraveled he and Tony Barchock’s efforts to rid the abandoned plant of a stray tiger.

It’s a real tiger, but – spoiler alert – it wasn’t at large and no one actually protected himself with a weed trimmer.
A spokeswoman for the owner of Detroit’s Packard Plant says photographers brought a tiger, bobcat and two wolves to the property without permission.
Tiger has been recovered safely according to Packard Plant security.
When the owners were told a live tiger had been brought on site, they closed down the shoot. We do not condone animals being on the site here, and the shoot was canceled. Smith said no animals were harmed and that trainers were on hand to get the tiger back in its cage.
Police received several calls after someone spotted Instagram photos of the animal in the rubble at the defunct facility.

“Officers were dispatched at 11:47 to check for a loose tiger in the area of the Packard Plant”, Beasly said.
