Yevette Vasquez wrote in a Facebook post how she was dropping her son Elijah off at school and noticed there were more cars than usual. He told her people were visiting for a “Donuts with Dad” school breakfast.

Not wanting her to son to miss out, the single mom returned to the school with a mustache, a button-up shirt and a Rangers ballcap.
When a Texas mom found out her son’s school was hosting a father’s event, she pulled out all the stops.
“Her post says: “…so we quickly went back home cause I wasn’t about to let him miss out….
“I know seeing other dads with their kids isn’t easy for mine, but it’s life”, Yevette wrote on her Facebook with pictures of her “dad” costume.
Vasquez threw on baggy trousers, a plaid shirt and a baseball cap.

Her Facebook post has been shared nearly 5,000 times and has hundreds of comments. She said she’s even more shocked by all the positive responses she’s gotten since posting the pictures online.
