The PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday will be livestreamed, but we’ll probably have to wait until tomorrow for more details on the event as today is a holiday.

Pocket-lint will be attending and reporting live from the event, but in case you would also like to watch it live, here are main things you need to know.

Sony is holding the PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday September 7 at 15:00 ET (12:00 PDT, 20:00 BST, 05:00 September 8 AEST) at the PlayStation Theater in Times Square, New York. You can watch from the comfort of your own home, instead.

For now, we’ve embedded the Korean live stream as it’s the only one which mentions the press conference but we’ll switch this to an English stream as and when it’s available.

Meanwhile, over on the Spanish PlayStation Blog, Sony confirmed that there will be “new announcements” at the PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday, September 7 at 12pm PT/3pm ET in NY. Speculations suggest that the PS4 Neo, as well as the PS4 Slim, will be unveiled on September 7. The latter has been leaked in photos.

If you’re looking to upgrade your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3, then you can use those consoles to see what Sony has in store.

In the interview with Financial Times, House announced last June that Sony is already developing a high-end PS4 for hardcore gamers who are clamoring for a 4K TV-capable game console with enhanced and magnificent graphics. PS4 Neo will also have higher bandwidth on memory at 218 GB per second (176 GB per second for the current PS4).

The PlayStation Neo is rumoured to be a 4K (Ultra HD resolution) console and not just for video playback such as Netflix like on the Xbox One S. It will support 4K gaming, making it the first console to offer the feature and better rival PCs.
